The ARW 65 is one of the most versatile machines on the market. It delivers optimum compaction results on substructures and asphalt surfaces.
Walk-behind vibratory rollers from Ammann offer two applications in one machine. The operator can choose between a high amplitude for working on substructures and a low amplitude for compacting asphalt and bituminous material.
ARW 65 - Walk-behind rollers are available with two different diesel engines.
ARW 65-S - Walk-behind rollers are available with two different diesel and one Petrol engines.
Both are powerful and fulfill the applicable world-wide emission standards.

Isolated guide handle
Enables easy control and prevents unwanted vibration from reaching the operator.
Safety first
Safety handle stops machine when operator releases grip and changes direction to forward when the machine comes too close to the operator in reverse mode.
In reverse mode the roller’s speed limit is set to 42 m/min (1.6 mph).

Edge work
The ARW Rollers offer clearance on both drum sides, allowing compaction work extremely close to curbstones, retaining walls and other obstacles.

The roller is suitable for use on substructures and asphalt surfaces. Adjustable eccentric weights for setting the amplitude and an integrated, generously dimensioned 60-litre water tank as standard guarantee that the machine is always ready for use and can switch quickly from loose substrate to asphalt.

ARW 65-S - The effortless lateral movement, enabled by the 15° steering angle that allows movement in every direction, is a significant advantage. Body weight is not required to direct the machine, which is often the case with competitive models. This improvement keeps operators fresh, eliminates surface irregularities, and provides consistency throughout the shift.
